Hamidrasha – Educational Center for the Renewal of Jewish Life in Israel was established by a group of Israeli educators and activists in 1989, with the goal of helping secular Jewish Israelis address basic issues of identity and community and to help create a more pluralistic, modern Jewish cultural and spiritual landscape for Israel society. Located at Oranim – Academic College of Education, Hamidrasha is the largest center of its kind in the northern region, annually reaching out to over 35,000 individuals throughout Israel.

MetroWest supports Hamidrasha's "Nigun Beitei Midrash for Pluralism" Program which addresses the complexities, polarization and extremism affecting relationships between secular and religious Jews in Israel.
